Install marine hardware (cleats, thru-rods, pile wraps, fender systems, ladders), helical/tie-back systems, and FRP/composite components. Perform safe rigging and signaling for lifts; operate small equipment (skid steer, telehandler, auger/impact hammer) and standard carpentry tools. Work from barges, scaffolds, and lifts in a tidal environment; maintain housekeeping, conduct Job Safety Assessments, and follow OSHA/USCG/Company safety procedures, including fall protection and working over water.

Qualifications: 3+ years heavy/marine carpentry or formwork experience (seawalls, docks, or bridge work preferred); proficient with form building, rebar, pile/cap framing, and blueprint reading. Skilled with lasers/levels/tapes; comfortable working over water and in variable weather/tides. Valid Florida driver’s license required; OSHA-10/30, NCCER, forklift/telehandler cards, TWIC, and small-boat handling a plus. Able to lift 75 lbs, climb/stoop, and work overtime/weekends/travel as needed. Strong safety mindset, teamwork, and communication are essential.

Marine Construction Pile Driver (Seawalls • Docks • Piers • Foundations)
Install and remove driven foundations and waterfront structures including timber, steel, FRP, and prestressed concrete piles; sheet piling; and fender/pipe systems for seawalls, docks, piers, and boat ramps. Responsibilities include pile layout from plans and benchmarks; building and truing driving templates; aligning leads; rigging and signaling lifts; operating/assisting with vibratory and diesel/air impact hammers (caps, cushions, followers, helmets); predrilling/jetting as required; driving vertical and batter piles to specified tip, set, or blow-count criteria; recording pile logs; cutting off/splicing piles; setting caps/tie-backs; and assisting with cofferdams and shoring. Maintain equipment, enforce exclusion zones, control swing radius with tag lines, perform daily inspections (hooks, slings, shackles, hammer/lead connections), and work safely from barges, scaffolds, and lifts in tidal, weather-sensitive conditions.

Qualifications: 3+ years heavy civil/marine or bridge pile driving experience; strong blueprint/elevation reading; competent rigger/signalperson (hand signals and radio); proficient with levels/lasers and basic survey checks; comfortable operating around cranes and on the water. OSHA-10/30, NCCER/NCCCO Signalperson-Rigger, First Aid/CPR, TWIC, and small-boat handling preferred. Must lift 75 lbs, climb and work at heights/over water, tolerate noise/vibration, and work overtime/weekends/travel as needed. Valid driver’s license and a strict safety mindset are required.

Marine Construction Laborer (Seawalls • Docks • Piers)
Support field crews building and repairing seawalls, bulkheads, docks, piers, boat ramps, and pile-supported platforms. Duties include site prep and cleanup; loading, staging, and moving materials; assisting with pile layout/spotting, rigging, and tag-line control; building/stripping simple formwork; tying rebar; mixing/placing concrete and grouts; cutting/drilling/fastening lumber, composite, and FRP members; installing marine hardware; operating or spotting small equipment (skid steer, telehandler, plate compactor, pumps); using hand and power tools; and performing housekeeping, traffic control, and basic measurements. Work is performed outdoors from barges, scaffolds, and lifts in a tidal environment. Participate in daily safety meetings/tailgates and follow OSHA/USCG/company safety procedures, including fall protection and working over water.

Qualifications: 0–2+ years in construction (marine/heavy civil preferred); able to read a tape, use levels/lasers, and perform basic math. Must be comfortable working over water and in all weather, able to lift 75 lbs, stand/bend/climb for extended periods, and work overtime/weekends/travel as needed. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. OSHA-10/30, basic rigging, forklift/telehandler cards, TWIC, First Aid/CPR, and small-boat handling are pluses. Strong safety mindset, teamwork, and willingness to learn are essential.

Marine Construction Form Carpenter (Seawalls • Caps • Docks • Boat Ramps)
Build, set, plumb, and brace formwork for waterfront concrete structures, including seawall caps, grade beams, pile caps, abutments, headwalls, and boat ramps. Lay out from plans and benchmarks; cut/assemble timber and engineered forming systems (plywood/lagging, walers/strongbacks, snap ties/wedge bolts, chamfers/reveals); install blockouts, sleeves, embeds, anchor bolts, dowels, and waterstops; tie and place rebar; coordinate picks with the crane, rigging, and tag‐line control. Prep pours (access, elevations, pour breaks, cold-joint control), place and consolidate concrete (vibrators/screeds), achieve specified finish/cure, then strip and recondition forms. Work from barges, scaffolds, and lifts in a tidal environment while maintaining housekeeping and participating in daily Job Safety Assessments/tailgates and OSHA/USCG/company safety procedures (fall protection, PFDs, exclusion zones).

Qualifications: 1+ years heavy civil/marine or bridge form carpentry; strong blueprint/elevation reading and layout (lasers/levels); hands-on with form hardware, rebar placement, embeds, and anchor setting; concrete placement/finishing basics. Competent with hand/power tools (cutoff saws, rotary hammers, core drills) and small equipment (telehandler, skid steer) and comfortable working over water and at heights. Must lift 75 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and cover overtime/weekends/travel as needed. Valid driver’s license required; OSHA-10/30, basic rigging/signalperson, forklift/telehandler cards, First Aid/CPR, and TWIC are pluses.
